Greenhouse is a multi-experimental art project that bridges virtual and physical spaces, created collaboratively by a set design artist, a VR artist, and performance artists. The project investigates the human body's potential as a medium to connect the virtual and the real.
Questioning what truly represents the essence of human existence:
While the physical body is destined to fade into the tangible world, the virtual world lacks the ability to generate material effects in reality. This raises the question: how can we demonstrate our presence at the intersection of these two realms?
Thus, the artwork employs the human sense of touch as evidence, forming a concrete connection between these dimensions of reality.
The structure of this multi-experimental artwork is defined by representative objects crafted from single-colored blocks that exist simultaneously in the physical world—a warehouse—and in the virtual world, portrayed as a lush, thriving Eden. These objects in both spaces can only be experienced through VR devices.
Through the power of consciousness, humans have the ability to co-exist between the virtual and physical worlds.
